Bondi Sands VS Bellamianta

Welcome back!!
So if you're reading todays blog post I'm guessing you love tan?
Also the next guess is you've heard about BOTH these tan's by now! As they have become very much VIRAL over the last couple of months!
So after some time reviewing each I've picked my favourite and why!

Bondi Sands

I firstly become aware of this tan through social media like Instagram (janat_blossomingbeauty). The pictures were everywhere showing off a gorgeous deep colour on the most beautiful girls! And of course I was thinking straight away I had to try it! It wasn't for couple of weeks later that I seen Chemists like Mulligans began stocking them and I picked myself up the Tanning foam in DARK!
Lets start with the

PRO's
  • You will smell like a giant coconut... Who doesn't want that?
  •  Easy application but must use the right glove! I used glove your body
  • Colour guide
  • Wears off nicely
  • It will not wash down your drain after your first shower!
CON's
  • Definietly not as dark as I thought. Pictures online were not true to colour!
  • Transfers onto bed sheets
  • A lot of product needs to be used
  • Does not exfoliate off well!!
  • EXPENSIVE 22 Euro

Overall my first I'mpression I was left disappointed. I wasn't happy with the colour at all as I wanted the colour I saw on their models! After my first try I really felt the pictures were misleading and not true to colour!
On the second application I prepped really well (I always would) But I took extra care this time hoping I would be as impressed as I saw others were, and I wasn't. Again It was not 'DARK' at all.
And to save you the read and me the typing, all my other applications were the same.
I've decided to leave this tan as my go to Day tan, when I originally wanted this to be used for a dark glow on a night out. It's strange to me that the Dark colour was so light! But I will say it is a nice tan to wear throughout the week/day.

Bellamianta Tan LOTION

So again, you've probably heard of this tan!! Everyone from SoSueMe to Tara Makeup is wearing it!! So it was be good, right? Well I had to try myself, and I LOVE!
Again I myself seen this on social media and needed it, After being disappointed with my other attempt looking for a night tan, I was praying this would work for me!
The best thing about this tan is the NO SMELL and the OLIVE tone to it, perfect for all skin types in my opinion and especially us Irish gals!

PRO's
  • Dries in 60 seconds
  • Olive tone, great for all skin types
  • NO transfer
  • SO EASY to apply
  • Water resistant
  • Colour Guide
  • Even wear off
  • Buildable colour without streaks
  • ODOURLESS
CON's
  • Ehhh... There's no bigger bottle?
  • Expensive

I really can't find a fault in this tan. It has suited me so much regarding colour, how easy it applies and everything inbetween. It IS true to pictures and has absolutely no odour. This has definitely been easy for me to love!
The olive tone compelelty keeps you away from the horrid 'Orange' look and gives you the most amazing dark but natural tan!! If you're looking for a great tan this is definielty a must!! At 20 Euro it is expenisive but worth every penny!!

Bellamianta wins this one for me! I find it hard to even compare this to ANY other tan I've used!! I will definielty be keeping this one in my drawer!
Thanks for reading, I hope you've enjoyed it!
All the best,
Janat

Polar White Pro - Review

Hi all !!
I'm back after a long, unintentional break from my blog!!
I was super busy but in the meantime I have been gathering some new content for you all!
If you follow my snapchat (bbeauty_jan) you would of seen I was sent some amazing products from Karora Cosmetics, which I'm happily trailing now and loving to review later!

In that package was a product I have previously tried in the past.
With this particular product I wasn't going to write a review as I don't like to spend much time writing about something I don't believe in. Also it takes time away from writing good, positive content.
But now that I have received it as part of a package I feel I need to.
This is by no means a blog to 'bash' the product. I'm simply sharing my experience with you and how I felt about it overall.

So I firstly came across the Polar White Pro at the Irish Beauty Show last year. I was searching for a teeth whitening product that was easy and convenient for some time, so when I seen this at one of the makeup stands I didn't hesitate in buying it (I have no will power) for €10 I couldn't  leave it there..Could I?

Later that week I was excited to try it, expecting gorgeous pearly whites after consecutive use. I read through the instructions and thought THIS IS GREAT, so easy, no fuss !!
Until I actually began.
So I done as instructed ..

1. Rotate pen to dispense product into brush.. CHECK
2. HOLD A WIDE SMILE.... and apply product to teeth, WITHOUT touching gums or lips... Eh check
3. Leave for 20 minutes without rinsing, eating or drinking. Check!
Sounds easy right?
** THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT COME WITH A GUM GAURD OR TRAY**

I done all the above and immediately became annoyed with the process, how on earth am I expected to stand there and hold a wide, abnormal smile for 20 minutes??
What happened next you're probably wondering?
- Immediately my face and cheeks began to hurt due to the creepy, wide smile I had to pull will looking in at myself trying not to laugh!!
- My lips became as dry as the Sahara Desert  which was obviously painful.
- My mouth began to produce excess saliva, this then began to wash away the product because it was so hard not to swallow!!

After 10 minutes the product was gone, I gave up and thought the pain in my cheeks is NOT worth pearly whites!
But I gave it another go two days later.. I REALLY wanted this to work!

But unfortunately all the above happened again,
•Sore face
•Lips like Mahatma Gandhi's flip flop
•Dribbles
...

This time I experienced something different, My teeth felt very sensitive afterwards which I didn't like as I wanted to use something safe all along, and this made me doubt the product. After brushing my teeth I noticed I had one or two patches on my teeth, almost like it had eaten away at my tooth. So I decided there and then I wasn't going to try this again.

I was really disappointed in the product overall! It wasn't easy or convenient and has really almost made me scared to try another brand/product like this,
I think it would of worked  better with a gum shield or tray (which I considered buying after trial one)

I'm by no means bashing this product, it just didn't work for me and because it was my first I'm reluctant to try another. Maybe I'll leave it to the professionals and go to the dentist!!

Lastly I want to let you know I bought the first with my own money, yes I was sent the same product but I have not used it which I feel terrible about because I would of said no if I had of know it was the same one!! I hope this read was informative and I would love to hear on how it worked for you if you have tried it!

But that's all for tonight,
See you soon!!

No.7 Microdermabrasion Exfoliator Part 2 of my Skincare Routine!

Hello lovelie!!
I'm back with the second part of my favourite skincare at the moment that you all loved on my snapchat!
Today's it's the No7 Microdermabrasion scrub!

So for those of you that might not know a whole lot about this treatment that is available in some salons that provide machines, worry not!!!
Microdermabrasion as a machine is mechanical exfoliation that removes the Stratum Corneum layer of this skin. This is the barrier layer that protects the skin but by exfoliating deeper into the skin (You should apply an SPF after use for this reason) You are basically asking the skin to kick start everything to provide new cells to help with things like;

Fine lines • Dry skin • Crows feet (eyes)  • Stimulate cell renewal •Even skin tone • Work against dark areas • Sun damage and Blemished skin
Just to name a few.

This is in my opinion a very mild form of an anti aging treatment and the perfect way to keep your skin looking young, fresh and overall in better condition.

So when I seen BOOTS had this treatment in a SCRUB form contained in a bottle I had to try it!
This little bottle of goodness claims to  work well after just 4 uses!
I can total say using this with my other two favourite products of this month my skin has never felt better. I was surprised to see that the real micro beads are used in this scrub, which makes sense but I wasn't sure what to expect. Because I had been leaning a lot about this treatment in collage and using the machines I wasn't sure how it could work in this form.. But it does! And has for me!

Within the box you find the instructions on how to use this. But it's very similar to the machine in use. Simply using circular motions with and against fine lines! But all that will be explained in the box!!

This SHOULD NOT be used if you are using high percentages of Glycolic acid (at home or salons) or if you have sun burn!!

Lastly I should let you all know that this is suitable for all skin types. Even sensitive as the No.7 range is Hypo-Allergenic meaning even the most sensitive skins can use this product and many more from their range!

The price tag for this must have product is €15! Comparing this to a salon machine starting from €50 and UP this is an absolute bargain for your skin and pocket! I love this product for the price, the results and the little amount of product needed that goes a long way!

If you have any questions regarding this product don't hesitate in messaging myself! Otherwise I hope you've enjoyed this read and you're feeling motivated to look after you skin for the summer months!!

That's all from me!
See you soon,
Janat

REVIEW Artistry Exact Fit Longwearing Foundation

Welcome back!
Today I wanted to talk about a foundation I received for Rachel Dalton Communications a little over two weeks ago!
I really wanted to give this foundation a go before talking about it because my opinions changed on this a few times throughout!
If you follow my snapchat you know I use a lot of budget makeup to show you what you can create without high end brands. Although this foundation isn't exactly budget friendly I do still think it's worth talking about!
So let's go!

Firstly this brand isn't very known to us Irish! The first time I heard of Artistry was when I received a product in my Glossy Box which never really grew on me! So I was eager to see what this foundation was like, so being makeup obsessed I had to try this out the morning it came in the post!

My first impressions weren't all the great if I'm honest. I had prepped my skin like I always would on a casual day using my Orangic Surge blissful daily moisturiser. On this particular day I didn't want to wear a lot of makeup so I was really just trying the foundation!
I firstly found it hard to work with; I love a water base foundation because of how blendable they are and this I would consider a little thicker in consistency!!
Once I had it applied it began to set matte! Which I like but I'm really into DEWY skin lately! Overall my first impression that day was I thought it was like any other foundation but I couldn't understand the hefty price tag!!?

On my second application I decided to really prep before hand and give this a real chance! I applied my
•Moisturiser,
•Ps "Pennys" Radiance Balm (I find this works really well with my dry skin and gives that glow I wanted underneath)
•Youngblood Sea Mineral Primer! LOVE
I wanted to use a dewy product under this foundation as I didn't want to be completely matte!
I used my Glam and Co buffer brush to apply this foundation as I wanted to really buff the product into my skin rather than have it sit on top! A dense brush will give you better full coverage, flawless application etc!
All these steps changed my opinion immediately! It felt very light weight on my skin and the coverage was AMAZING! The best thing about this product is one or two pumps for the face is all that's needed! And I don't need a second layer! Hence why it feels so light weight!

Highlighter on areas reflecting!

I watched my face though out the day, I would not be oily in any way shape or form, but from time to time I would get SLIGHT oil production around my nose, but this foundation kept it completely matte and avoided that horrid shine!
My foundation would usually wear away on my forehead (I focus on this area with primer) and again it did not budge!
Lastly the biggest thing for me was that it was matte so I was worried about it drying out my T-Zone (after all my work keeping it under control I didn't want it to become dry again)
I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it did not pick up on dry patches (good prep needed) and it did not sit in creases or dry my skin out!

Later that night after probably nearly 9 hours it was still prefect. Definitely not ready to be washed off! I honestly felt my skin looked amazing due to how clear and flawless it looked without being cakey!
This review might sound a little too good to be true but I can honestly say I love it and have continued to use it since!

My opinions;
•Prep skin well before application!
•Use a dense foundation brush!
•Suitable for ALL skin types (especially oily)

So you're probably wondering the price tag? ... €48
With this foundation you really are paying for quality! We all want something that will last all day and this definitely does!
Also with 14 shades I think there's a shade perfect for every skin colour.

Lastly I want to say a massive thank you to Moira at Rachel Dalton Communications for sending this gem out to me! It really has become a favourite for me!

I hope you've all enjoyed this read, I would love to know if you purchase this or even your own reviews on this product if you've tried it!

Nip+Fab - Glycolic Cleansing Fix Review

Hello again!!!
I've been neglecting my blog for a while but I've decided that I would only use my blog when I needed/wanted to talk more in depth about product/subject etc!
So with that being said I'm back today to talk about a new product I've been using and why!!

Nip and Fab Glycolic Cleasning Fix

Firstly I wanted to tell you why I decided to give this product a go;
Throughout the winter months my skin tends to become a lot drier, obviously due to the weather and the mix from indoor heating and braving the cold outside can have an effect on the skin. This winter I decided I was going to look after my skin a little better for the winter to prevent my skin from completely drying out on the Tzone like previous years!

To prevent this I decided to use very rich moisturisers day and night, these contained high oils and one example would be lanolin (sebum from Sheeps wool) although this is great for the skin and it essentially done its job in preventing a dry Tzone, I made the mistake in over using this product.
The results? My forehead became very congested and had trapped oils under the skin, leaving me with small bumps that picked up worse with foundation on.
I discontinued use and began exfoliating in hope it would work but that failed.

I had decided to try microdermabrasion in college and after two treatments there was no change in this area.
So after learning about Glycolic acid in college I decide to try this Nip and Fab Product.

What is Glycolic acid?
This is used to hydrate the skin, stimulate collagen production, exfoliating or resurface the skin!
This penetrates deeper into the skin as it has a smaller molecule!
THEY SHOULD BE USED WITH CARE AND HIGHER LEVELS SHOULD BE USED WITH SUPERVISION IE BEAUTY THERAPIST
Nip & Fab has a glycolic level of 2% enough for at home! (Salons can be as high as 40-50%)
* Do not use with - Broken skin, sunburn, flared acne, recent scar tissue, waxing, removal creams etc)*

After seeing this particular product in my local Sam Mc Cauleys Chemist I decided to try it and at a reduced price of €7.50 I couldn't leave it there.
I started use immediately that night! My first impressions were;
The cleanser lathered up well and washed my face nicely (leaving no trace of makeup)
• My skin felt soft, Nearly like I had exfoliated
• My skin was super glowly and had a shine to it
I had not seen a difference in my congested area just yet after after one use I was happily surprised with the other factors.

After my second use;
All the above had stayed the same. Although my skin did feel softer around my Tzone, especially my nose!

My third use;
I began to see my congested area slightly  break down. I only noticed this due to applying my makeup. I honestly seen those little bumps become smaller and less noticeably. I continued my use.

Nearly one month later this product is by far a new love for me. My forehead is less congested, I've seen at least an 80% improvement in this area and those bumps are no longer noticeable when makeup is applied. I have decided to continue using this product 3 times a week, as I don't want to overuse use Glycolic acid (personally preference).
I 100% believe in this product and due to all the other factors this cleansing is amazing to overall resurface the skin and give you a gorgeous glow for the summer.
It must be working if even my boyfriend noticed a glow to my skin (his words)

Overall this product has a massive thumbs up for me! The Nip & Fab range is well and truly on its way up in the world, and hey, if it's good enough for Brand Ambassador Kylie Jenner, then it's good enough for us!

I hope this review has giving you an insight! For other skincare, makeup and beauty related reviews head over to my snapchat account " @bbeauty_jan

Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser- The newest Primer?

Hello again!!!
I'm back with something new and exiting today.. Well for me it is!!!
Skincare!!! But with a twist, I was recently sent these items so I did not pay for them. What you're about to read are MY honest views on this product and what I have been recently using it for!!

So I should start by telling you a little bit about this product. As it says in the name it's a daily moisturiser and is suitable for all skin types, that firstly is amazing in my opinion as no one is excluded. This product is also jam packed with hydrators, essential oils (yay) and antioxidants. So what does this cream claim to do?

• Rebalance oily or dry areas
• Renews skin to give a glowy/health appearance
• Animal friendly which we all love!

I can confirm this moisturiser does an amazing job at smoothing out the skin and my dry have stayed under control but I also put that down to my good skincare routine! But I also have started to use this for another reason not listed with the company
...
A PRIMER
Yes I have been using this as my primer for two weeks now and I LOVE it.
The reason I started doing so? The first day I applied this moisturiser I noticed it firstly took longer than usual to dry in and it also became tacky whilst drying.
So me being the impatient person I am and I was also in a rush I decided to put my foundation on whilst it was tacky and I forgot my normal daily primer. Later that night I looked at my makeup and obviously to my surprise it was still perfect. In my T-Zone is where my makeup would wear throughout the day without primer so when I noticed it was still perfect I ran for the bottle!
One of the main ingredients in this cream is Glycerin. Which is what helps your makeup stick as it becomes tacky. It's also amazing for;
Maintaining water balance in the skin avoiding dehydrated skin, improve skin appearance and also help fight against skin disorders such as psoriasis!

I have been using this as my primer and daily moisturiser for two weeks now with NO complaints, I have applied my foundation when the cream has become tacky and I've loved it since (used in my snapchat tutoital). The biggest thing for me is that your skin is getting so many nutrients and goodness right before applying your makeup.
For me this stuff has been amazing and has suited me so well for both uses. As I said this is just what I do and what suits my skin. If you are interested in trying this moisturiser you can pick it up in Pharmacies that are now beginning to stock (Waterford- Castle Pharmacy Dunmore Road) or you can go to their online website.
http://www.organicsurge.com/products/blissful-daily-moisturiser#

This is retailing at €14.04 online!

I hope you've enjoyed this little read and like always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!!
Until next time,
Janat

Blog Shaming - Newest Trend!

Welcome back!!!

Today's blog post is going to be more of a chat and what's been coming to my attention a lot recently!!
" BLOG SHAMING "
When I say blog shaming I'm talking about all those people who have recently been taking to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to shame those of us who have taking the plunge to put ourselves out there, start a blog and talk about things we love,.. And what's wrong with that?
**If you don't like rants I recommend you stop reading now**

#1- ALL BLOGGERS WANT ARE "Freebies"
Ok so this has been the main focus to a lot of people recently, that all bloggers are in it for the freebies, and that all bloggers get freebies! THIS IS NOT TRUE!!
Since I started my own blog back in October I have only received one item to trial and two following items as a thank you. I never started this blog to receive free products, I started my own to put my thought on a page rather than having friends ask me how I do certain things (which I got a lot)! A blog seemed like an easier way to show people bits and bobs. With that being said, if you are thinking by starting a blog you'll receive free items I can tell you'll be very disappointed. Companies will not just send there products to any owl blogger! And if you've reach a certain number of people on your blog and it may have landed you a nice product, good on you I say! This blogging world ain't easy, and likes/shares don't just fall out of the sky!! Blogging takes time and effort just like I'm doing now to write this. I'll tell you now that this post won't land me a luxurious product!

#2 EVERY BLOGGER WANTS TO BE AN MUA
I personally feel beauty bloggers get the most stick!! That everyone all of a sudden knows everything about makeup and skincare etc. It really puts the people down that go to college and work hard within the beauty industry. Beauty Therapy is not just about painting nails and applying makeup (WHICH ISN'T EASY EITHER WHEN DONE RIGHT WITH THEORY ETC) that's literally 10% of the course. So when others put us down for working hard and learning all about skin, muscles, ingredients and much more it's beyond frustrating. When you're looking for reviews you're relying on us to tell you the truth, oh and not every blog is about beauty may I add. Try lifestyle, fashion and parenting blogs, to name just a few!

#3 THE BLOGGING WORLD IS COMPETITIVE
Il be honest, before I took the plunge myself I thought it would be competitive like back like the primary school days when we all needed to have the nicest school bag or the best colouring pencils, but it's not like that at all! Everyone helps each other out, getting you're name out there and those little shout outs make all the difference. People will almost always return the favour! When I attended an event here in Waterford I met so many lovely girls who always help each other out wether it's sharing blogs or again giving shout outs on their snapchat (which I have to watch everyday). This "blogging" world is a more relax and helpful environment. It's really like the nights out you meet girls in the bathroom who are all of a sudden your best friend without really knowing them.. And I love that haha!!

#4 THERE'S NO SHAME IN BLOGGING
This point is really important for me. I find people who don't like to put themselves out there will shame those who do. If you're like me, you'll worry about those who know you making fun of you for starting a blog, and that's how I felt when I first started. But as you go on those narrow minded people won't matter.  Social media is a scary world, anyone can look your name up and watch you, and some people probably will have something to say, but at the end of the day, does it really matter what those people think if you enjoy sitting down and writing a blog on something you love? I think not!! There is NO SHAME in blogging, so next time you feel embarrassed by the latest trend about how annoying bloggers are just remember, they will still return to you for reviews, fashion posts or recipes. Full circle people!

#5 KEYWORD WARRIORS
I'm sure you all know what this term means. "Keyboard warrior - A person who feels the need to write a negative comment that is not needed or wanted". Lucky, this has only happened to me once, but I've recently been seeing a lot of people put up a post and then throw in that negative comments aren't needed or to keep them to themselves. Why should anyone have to write or say that? In the last week I have seen 5 people say or write that and that very much annoys me! It's totally not needed. If you don't like my eyebrows, I don't need to know? If you don't like my tattoo, so what it's there for life? A negative will not make a person stop doing something they love. Oh and the most popular comment of all "You're voice is annoying" Things that can't be changed should not be talked about. Constructive criticism is fine, as long as you're nice about it, but negativity is not needed. Put yourself in that position, and think would you like to read something horrible about yourself for simply writing a post to help others, no! When it happened to me I was upset not to mention mortified!
Positivity is alway welcomed and appreciated.

Basically for today's post I wanted to address these points. People forget how effective social media can be and negative comments can really to hurt some people. I like to think I could ignore these kind of things but until I'm really in that situation I can't fully understand how it might feel.
If you learn anything from this post I'm  hoping it'll be .. If you've nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all!!

This post was probably a tad bit heavy but hey, they can't all be about reviews and painting nails ;) LOL

Until next time

Cocoa Brown Vs Babydoll Cosmetics TANTEST

Welcome back!!

For today's little read I'm going to talk about two tan's that I've recently been loving, and both for different reasons!!
So let's just straight into it!!

Cocoa brown has brought out some fabulous products recently and the woman behind it all, Marissa Carter has done an amazing job. But today I'm just going to talk about one product in particular and that's are newest tan!

Cocoa Brown - Brozing Gel -Shimmer

So when this tan first came out my local penny's did not stick it for a while!! And of course I couldn't wait so I purchase mine on Cloud 10 Beauty (now on sale). I wanted to try this tan for many reasons, one because I love Cocoa Brown in general, the smell, the texture and how easy these tans are to apply make it hard not to love! But when I seen the word "SHIMMER" I needed it!!! I love anything that will give you a healthy glow and coming upto Christmas it was perfect! This tan is easy to apply and gives an instant colour, although it does wash off right away in the shower, so I found myself applying this the day of events. I also love the scent, a lot of tan's leave that curry smell (or is it just me that thinks that?) but this tan definitely will not leave an unwanted scent!!! Overall Cocoa Brown is the perfect tan for anyone that needs an instant tan but easy to wash off. If you're someone who cannot wear tan in work but love a glow at the weekend, then this is for you! For me I like to wear this tan at the weekends as college does not allow me to wear tan, this tan washes off like a dream as I said! You can purchase any Cocoa Brown products in leading chemists and penny's!

Babydolll Tan Godness - Medium

I recently receive this tan in a goodie bag I was at in Waterford!! I wasn't sure about trying this out as I said .. Cocoa Brown has never failed me. I was also told by other people that it wore off terribly leaving streaks and setting in the pores like the underarms etc.
I decided to try this one Friday night and my first impressions were great. I exfoliated and moisturised before hand which I think a lot of those people forget to do! When I applied this tan it slided on nicely and the smell of coconut was a nice surprise! The colour immediately turned up. Before I go on any further I must add, you have to be very careful when applying as this continues to develop over a couple of hours. If you're someone who does not like to pay attention to streaks when applying this tan is not for you!!

The next day the colour had developed even further and because I was careful applying I had no steaks.. Happy days!! I continued to moisturise daily to keep the tan even and after showers only the excess was removed. I loved how I still had a natural colour and did not have to reapply. This tan worked for me because I was willing to moisturise daily to give the tan a lasting life. I had no problems with it wearing off as it did so evenly without any notice. If you're someone who likes a longer wearing tan then this is for you, just be mindful, if you're not prepared to look after it by moisturing then be prepared for streaks that may occur after wear. This tan is around €9.99 and can be bought in most chemist!

Overall I like both these tans for different reasons. Cocoa Brown washes off nicely and Babydoll Tan Godness lasted upto 7 days. Prior to tanning you should ALWAYS exfoliate and moisturise for best results!!

I hope you've enjoyed this read and gained an insight to each tan and their best qualities!
That's all from me this weekend!
Until next time

Tomitago Review - The Ultimate Skincare

Hello lovelies!! Welcome back!!

So today's blog is on a new skincare range that I have recently fell in love with!! After I was sent a skincare product for psoriasis to test (still testing) I was then sent these two lovely products that I am going to tell you all about!!

DISCLAIMER- I was not paid to write this post! These are my genuine thoughts and opinions!

I should firstly begin by telling you all about Tomitago and where it comes from. Tomitago is 100% chemical free, Irish made and Irish owned (yay for the Irish)!! Louise is the proud owner of this company and so she should be! These products are packed to the brim with natural ingredients that are going to help brighten, moisturise, hydrate and give your skin and overall healthy appearance and who doesn't love that?
Because these products are chemical free your skin will not feel dry of tight like some products have done for me in the past as strong astringents tend to dry out my skin further!
So I will of course tell you that Tomitago is made in Piltown Co.Kilkenny! Just 20 minutes from where I live and that alone for me is amazing because I have never tried a product so close to home.

A big eye opener for me with the Beauty Elixir (talked about below) is when I was first trying this product out I had just gotten my first Microdermabrasion treatment which is a mechical exfoliant, this removes the stratum corneum layer of the skin (barrier layer) and by doing so tells your skin to act fast and bring nutritients and new blood to the skin to help heal and improve problem areas. After this treatment it is recommended to not use anything with alcohol or perfume in it but I needed something to prevent my skin peeling and drying, so I reached for the Beauty Exlirir. I was impressed with how gentle it felt, I was expecting a slight sting but that did not happen, my skin the next morning felt so soft and I was so happy with how gentle it was because I knew all those amazing ingredients soaked into the skin due to the barrier being removed by the machine. That for me really made me believe in Louise's slogan for her company "Because Green is the new Platinum"

The Beauty Exlixir

So this is the product I spoke about above. This in my opinion is amazing due to the 5 in 1 options and it being Unisex, so right away you're getting your money's worth! So when I say 5 in 1 you're probably wondering what I mean, basically this product can be used as
• Facial Serum
• Day moisturiser or primer
• Night Moisturiser
• Eye Serum
• Eye cream
For one product you can use this for all of the above.
The product come in two sizes. The serum itself is light green in colour and very spreadable, it remindes me a lot of how coconut oil would melt in your hands, so a little goes a long way. I used this every night after my cleanse and I gently rubbed this in circular motions all over. I left this do its work over night and the next morning my skin would feel great!! After using this I can official say my skin has never looked clearer, brighter or smoother. My dehydration on my forehead has improved tremendously. For 2016 I think this will be my go to product every night. I'm already worrying about when it's gone but I will 100% be purchasing this!

Skin Oil

Before now I never used a skin oil, I mainly stuck to creams to help dryness on legs which nearly all us momen suffer from due to shaving, so I didn't know what to expect. When I first tried this the gorgeous smell got my attention straight away, Louise suggests this can be used daily for the scent alone and I agree! I began using this every night on my arms and legs and after some uses I was hooked on this oil, it felt so much more hydrating than any cream I ever used! I even began using this to keep my tan even instead of using creams and it done the same job if not better! I noticed my skin looked glowly especially down my shin bone just like a shimmer would do! I am definitely going to continue using this and for me I think this will be a must for the summer! I want that glowly look for summer who doesn't??

Packaging

If any of you are like me, packaging will excite you. I love how Louise has designed her products, the simply detailing is just gorgeous! The silver tubs with her logo goes so well together and I really do love the simplicity. I find it much better than something over the top. But it gets better, firstly when you open your package you'll find your products in cute nilon bags!!!! Also with every cream you get a wooden spoon to avoid any cross contamination through your fingers! I think Louise thought of every detail either business and I'm so impressed!!

Both of the products I have spoke about can be bought separately or two in a gift set! Below I will leave the link as Louise has many other products that I will defined be trying!!

I hope you have all enjoyed this little read and would love to see some support for this Irish business! The effort that has been put into this business and the outcome in my opinion deserves it!

Until next time

My five item's for 2016 Wishlist!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!!!!

So for today's blog post I thought I would something different and write myself a Wishlist!! On this list I will include products that I gave heard amazing things about and products I think will thrive for 2016!!
So let's get started

#1 Too Faced - Born this Way Foundation

Too faced cosmetics has been a massive hit since stalls have been set up in shops like Debemhams and since getting the Chocolate Bar palette for Christmas I've been mad to try some of their other products!
This foundation is a Medium to Full coverage which is what I look for in any foundation. It is also oil free and I think this would be amazing for the summer months when our skin is generally good due to all that sun (if we're lucky here in Ireland). I have watched many tutorials on this foundations and it looks very flawless, easy to apply and a little product ones along way. This retails at €36 and can be bought online!

#2 SoSueMe Contour Palette

Suzanne Jackson has just recently launched her new Contouring Palette and it looks devine!! It has all the perfect shades I would love in a palette together. In this palette you have three cream
concealers and two powders. There are 6 shades ranging from a banana powder to a cocoa shade for contour to a HIGHLIGHTER, YESSS SUE!! When I seen her YouTube video on revealing this palette I immediately had FOMO (Fear of missing out). This palette should be available in pharmacy's soon and retails at €30! NEED

#3 Vanity Area

This has been a NEED of mine for so long!!! I have looked into creating an area for makeup and all things beauty but due to having a small room it can't happen just yet!! I dream to have an amazing mirror with all the light bulbs and drawers full of makeup!! I'm loving that picture above!
Here's to hoping!! Haha

#4 Inglot 4ss Brush

This is a brush that's been on my mind for a while now and seeing so many of the Inglot makeup artist use it makes me want it more. This brush is used mainly to create the famous Inglot smoky eye.. If you follow anyone working got Inglot you'll know how much they love to BLEND and smoke it out!! I've seen the girls use this for blending concealer and foundation also... So this brush really has more an one use.
This brush retails at €22!

#5 NYX Suede Cream Lipstick

I have yet to see these babies in stores yet!! I have become literally obsessed with liquid lipsticks and I'm loving so many of the colour this Suede range comes in!!
I will definitely be comparing these to the Sleek liquid lipsticks as they're my favourite at the minute..
If anyone knows where I can purchases these PLEASE let me know!!!

Those are just 5 items I'm loving at the moment that I need not want in my life!!! I'd love to hear from any of my followers the products you love and all your suggestions.
This was just a very light hearted chat for today so I hope this as giving some of you some inspiration for the summer to come!

Until next time lovelies,
Janat

The TMI Tag!

Image result for tmi tag questions list

Hello lovelies
So I was recently tagged by the lovely Lyanne Hennessy from ''Beauty and the Brunette'' some questions from the TMI tag.. YAY
Here is Lyanne's Facebook like below;
https://www.facebook.com/TheBeautyandtheBrunette/?fref=ts

I decided to pick 20 good questions from the tag to really let you get to know me as some of questions took away from the topic!...
So lets go!!

  1. How tall are you?; I'm definitely on the shorter side of the scale being 5'2 and a HALF... The half matters!!!
  2. How old are you?; I am 20 years old.. Fun Fact that shocks everyone I also share my birthday with my twin brother!
  3. Any tattoo's?; Yes two.. One on my ribs in Arabic meaning 'Dad' and a rose piece on the top of my leg.
  4. Any piercings?; I have my ears done since I was 5 and I also have my bellybutton done.. And I love it.
  5. Favourite show?; Hollyoaks!!! Its the only soap I watch and I'm obsessed! I'm actually watching it right now.
  6. Favourite band; If I had to pick one it would be Kodaline who are an Irish band, but I generally like a lot of bands and music.
  7. Something I miss; My lovely Dad who passed away nearly 8 years ago.
  8. Zodiac sign? Cancer... I'm a Crab which means I'm loyal, dependable, caring, adaptable, and responsive, Not too bad haha!!
  9. Quality you look for in a partner? Someone who is caring, affectionate, funny and loyal. So everything my boyfriend is :)!!
  10. Last show you watched? Making a Murderer and my brain is melted!!!! If you haven't watched it yet you NEED to!
  11. Favourite food? Hahaha... Chicken! And I love crisps.
  12. Last place you were? I went to Turkey in October with my boyfriend. I loved the holiday obviously because of who I went with but I didn't enjoy Turkey as a country.. Just not my cup of tea.
  13. Favourite piece of jewerelly? My gorgeous rose gold watch by Guess that my boyfriend got me for my 20th birthday!!
  14. Fears? WATER.. Because I'm not a great swimmer and I'm afraid of drowning. I have to be able to touch the floor so being 5''2 you can imagine how limitied I am in a pool haha!
  15. Meaning behind your blog name? I used the word Blossoming because I wanted to symbolise the growth of something and in this case, my blog :)
  16. Favourite quote? ''Everything happens for a reason''
  17. Place you want to visit? Too many places are on my list! So ... Paris, Oz, New York, Thailand the list goes on!!
  18. Favourite flavour of sweet? I'm not a big sweet person but I love cheese...
  19. Where do you go when your'e sad? Bed.. I love my bed!
  20. Loud music or soft? Depending on my mood I like loud when I'm in a great mood and ready for a sing song. Soft music probably when I'm tired but I also prefer to turn off the radio in a car if I'm tired or talking.. Which is all the time hahah!

I feel so blunt writing without emojis!! Anyways those are just 20 questions from the TMI tag that everyone has been doing recently. It's nice to just write something light hearted and of course letting you all get to know me that little bit better..
That's all for today and I hope you all enjoy your weekend, I definietly will as I'm seeing Kevin Hart on Friday night in Dublin!! I'm too excited!!

See you all soon,
Janat
